Ashley Village Council Meeting Minutes
November 11, 2021

The regular council meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by President Ann Paksi.

Roll call was taken with Ann Paksi, Mike Turner, Kristin Wilson, Robert Studt, Doug Schneider,  Matt Brzak, , Joel Zuker-DPW Supervisor
Absent:  Dave Foote, Michelle Fitzpatrick-Clerk, Mary Osborn-Treasurer

Visitors: None

After review and discussion R. Studt   made a motion to approve the 11/11/21 amended agenda adding Country Christmas to agenda.  Supported by  M.Brzak. Motion carried. 

After review and discussion R. Studt  made a motion to accept the Council Meeting Minutes of 10/15/2021 as presented.  Supported by D. Schneider.  Motion carried.

After review and discussion K. Mills   made a motion to approve the check register/expenditures from October 15, 2021 – November 11, 2021.  Supported D. Schneider  Motion carried.

Old Business:

Updates of New Quarterline property was reviewed and discussed. Possible new business is interested in purchasing a piece of the property. 

Updates on Country Christmas and review of their meeting notes discussed.

Fire Authority reviewed and discussed.

New Business:

After review and discussion M. Turner made motion to approve President, Ann Paksi and Clerk,  Michelle Fitzpatrick as signers for M-Dot contracts for road closure at RR junction. Supported by M. Brzak. Roll Call vote taken.

Ayes: A. Paksi, M. Turner, D. Schneider, R. Studt, M. Brzak, K. Mills
Nays: 0
Absent: D. Foote

Resignation of  cleaning custodial person was reviewed and discussed.

Work Session overview was discussed.  Meetings to take place once a month on the second Monday of the month at 6:00pm at village office.  Discussion to move forward on list for American Rescue Plan funds.

D. Schneider made motion to adjourn regular council meeting at 8:15pm.  Supported by K. Mills.  Motion Carried.
